About Study Cooperatives

SAGA Study Cooperatives are peer-led learning groups where members share knowledge, discuss curriculum topics, and support each other's educational journey. Groups can focus on any subject area and are encouraged to integrate traditional knowledge with modern academics.

Study groups are organized into four categories to help learners find the right fit:

Academic -- Core subjects including STEM, language arts, and social studies
Cultural -- Indigenous knowledge, language preservation, and heritage studies
Sports Science -- Biomechanics, training science, and traditional athletic events
Wellness -- TEK8 dimensions, nutrition, mindfulness, and holistic health

Each group sets its own meeting schedule, learning goals, and collaboration style. Groups connected to seasonal activities are highlighted with season tags so you can find timely learning opportunities.
