The Mission

What is SAGA?

SAGA is a methodology and technology for building and maintaining your personal and collective ships.

Through games — Indigenous, street, and traditional — we develop the 8 dimensions of human wellness (TEK8) while sailing toward a world where these traditions stand equal on the Olympic stage.

The metaphor is nautical. Each person builds their own ship through personal development. Communities form fleets. Together, all communities form a fleet of fleets — a global armada of culture, sport, and mutual growth sailing toward 2042.

The 7ABCs study cooperative is the sail system of each ship. It provides the educational wind that propels each vessel forward.

A PK-12 curriculum aligned with cultural knowledge and seasonal rhythms, the 7ABCs connect academic learning to lived experience. Students don't just study history — they play the games. They don't just read about ecology — they observe their local environment through the lens of seasonal change.

The study cooperative is how SAGA ensures that every exchange, every game, every visit becomes lasting knowledge — documented, shared, and available to the entire fleet.
